Cinecittà Shows Off
Ever wonder what Rome was like during the reign of the Caesars? How about the streets of New York City in the late 1800s? Cinecittà opens its doors to its famed film lots and new museum to the public. Some of CInecittà’s most famous film sets include those of Ben Hur, Quo Vadis, and Gangs of New York and there is a special section devoted to Federico Fellini as well.
The museum also has dedicated a building to the art of filmmaking as well as one housing the display cases with elaborate costumes from numerous famous movies. Cinecittà will be open on weekends starting April 28, 2012.
