Nel 2003, nella lobby dell'hotel Madison di Washington D.C., Michele Siracusano, allora giovane trentenne con tre figli e tante responsabilità, entrò tra i quattro fondatori di ILICA. Il più giovane fra noi che ci regalò la famosa frase: "Sono onorato di essere stato accettato da amici con tanta esperienza mentre sono qui per imparare perchè tutto mi sembra troppo importante per uno come me!"  Oggi siamo noi onorati di mostrare le foto di un nuovo Leader accanto alle massime autorità della polizia di New York, del Console Italiano a New York e dello stesso Sindaco della Big Apple. Se una foto vale più di mille parole, la modestia e la sincera soddisfazione che queste foto mostrano, esprimono in pieno la missione di ILICA. A young Michele Siracusano, speaking last in 2003 in the lobby of the Madison Hotel in Washington DC, said : "I am honored to be accepted by such experienced Friends while I am here to learn from all of you because everything I hear sounds too important for a simple person like me!"  Michele was only 32 then, he was married with Lidia and he already had three children. He was the youngest of the group. Today we are honored to show the pictures of a new Leader together with the highest authorities of the NYPD, the Italian Consul General of New York, and the Mayor of the Big Apple. If one picture is worth more than a thousand words, the modesty and the sincere satisfaction you see in those pictures expresses better than any words ILICA's mission. CONGRATULATIONS MICHELE!!!
